FilmBeat: regular video content on subscription
If you know you should be putting out regular videos but you haven’t got the time, the kit or the people to do it, FilmBeat gives you a crew that turns up, films and delivers all year round, for a fixed monthly cost.
How it works
Plan. We start by getting to know your business and the people you’re trying to reach, then we plan a year’s worth of content around the things that matter to you, such as launches, seasons, events and the questions your customers keep asking.
Shoot. Our crew comes to you, at your premises or wherever you need us in the UK, for a set number of shoots across the year. We plan each shoot carefully so that one day in front of the camera gives you as many useful videos as possible.
Share. You get the finished videos cut for the places they’ll be seen, whether that’s your website, YouTube, LinkedIn or social, and we keep an eye on how they’re doing so the plan can change as we learn what works for you.
Every subscription also includes FilmBeat Academy training for your team, so the people in your business get more comfortable in front of the camera and better at knowing what to film.
The plans
You can choose to receive content monthly, fortnightly or weekly, depending on how much you want to put out. All three run on a 12-month contract, and the number of videos depends on their length and complexity, so treat the figures below as a guide and we’ll give you a clear figure before you commit.
| Monthly content | Fortnightly content | Weekly content | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shoots a year | 4 (one a quarter) | 6 (every other month) | 12 (one a month) |
| Videos a year | Up to 12 | Up to 26 | Up to 52 |
| 12-month video strategy | Included | Included | Included |
| FilmBeat Academy training | Included | Included | Included |
| Regular strategy reviews | Included | Included | Included |
| Cost per month | £1,500 plus VAT | £2,500 plus VAT | £4,500 plus VAT |
FilmBeat is without question, the best pound for pound marketing spend I have ever invested in my entire career. Seriously.
Who it’s for
FilmBeat suits businesses that have something going on every month and want their customers to see it: a retailer with new ranges, a council with stories to tell, a law firm whose own people can explain things better than any brochure, a bus operator that wants to say thanks to its passengers.
It’s less suited to a business that only needs one video a year, and if that’s you we’ll say so and point you at a one-off production instead.
A few examples
Arriva wanted to say thank you to their customers, so we armed a presenter with fifty £10 notes and some hidden cameras. Manomasa used their subscription to show what you can actually cook with a bag of tortilla chips.
Gateshead Council used theirs for the ‘Follow My Story’ foster carer campaign, with each testimonial going out on YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn, and Swinburne Maddison have a suite of videos in which their own lawyers explain the things people search for.

We’ll look at what you’re doing now, tell you where regular video would make a difference, and give you a clear figure before you decide anything.
